Roles and Responsibilities (In detail)

  1. Build strategies and drive the team so that everyone owns up to the common goals and are clear
    about the activities to obtain them.
  2. Act as a bridge between the Board of Directors (BoD) and the executive committee to exchange
    information about the company on a regular basis.
  3. Identifying core stakeholders (Schools, hotels, NGOS, corporate houses etc), hold meetings and
    come up with concrete working models (Seeking assistance from BoD)
  4. Finding out grants from I/NGOs working in urban sector
  5. Closing deals and terms with municipality to work in urban greenery sector
  6. LOG frame with monthly targets and discussing with board one week prior of each month.
  7. Hold meetings with the working team on the first week of every month to set goals, clear out
    responsibilities, plan and edit monthly budget and other activities.
  8. Hold reflection meetings with the executives and the BoD (if necessary)
  9. Assist in preparing reports from individual executives within the last week of the month and present
    it to the board within the 1st week of consecutive months.
  10. Align the roles, responsibilities and activities of the company to the vision and mission of the
    company
  11.  Act firm and harsh with executives as required by the position and situation
  12. Delegate jobs taking in mind the roles and responsibilities of each executive member
  13. Ensure good stage appearance while presenting oneself and the company to other stakeholders,
    possible partners and investors or anywhere outside in public
  14. Make sure everyone’s up to their work, are satisfied with the working ambience, are working as a
    team and above all happy with what they are doing
  15. Own up to any consequences resulting from the activities from the executive team. Hire, fire and
    reward staff as necessary.
  16. Make sure there is a positive, safe and secure working environment around (learning some work
    jokes might help)
  17. Maintain a personal relationship with every executive limiting the relationship strictly to professional
    within the working hours and inside the company space
  18. Make sure to differentiate between individual decision taking and taking decisions as a team
  19. Should be open to suggestions, criticism, constructive feedbacks and have a good learning attitude

Roles and Responsibilities (In detail)

  • Work in close coordination with the CEO in financial planning, management and budgeting.
  • Developing, preparing and implementing daily, weekly and monthly Management Information
    System (MIS)
  • Monitoring cash and bank balance and its forecast
  • Overseeing and reviewing books of accounts and ensuring timely accounting of transactions
  • Communicating the finance and accounting position of the company to the CEO on a regular basis
  • Monitoring receivable balances, ensuring accuracy of balance and interests
  • Ensuring compliance with prevailing rules and regulations related to direct and indirect taxes, labor
    acts and rules and other as applicable to transactions of the company
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial
    purposes
  • Reviewing financial and accounting data and ensuring the preparation of monthly and annual reports
  •  Assist in timely submission and presenting monthly and annual financial information of the company
    to the regulating authorities
  • Assist coordination with Internal and external tax audit of the company
  • Assist in identifying the areas of improvements and preparing and implementing corrective measures
  • Assist to represent the company with regulators, Income Tax authorities, investors and other
    stakeholders
